4 ways you can help us say YES

Womenade SLO is just getting started and I can see the needs in our city are mounting. Thanks to you, we have already met needs requested by social workers, educators, and pastors in San Luis Obispo. These referring agents are on the front lines of interacting with our community. They see a need and, when there is a gap in funding, reach out to us for help. I can't tell you how amazing it is to say YES when they ask. As the frequency of need requests increase, I felt a nudge to ask for help. Here are 4 things you can do to ensure Womenade SLO continues to say YES to immediately meeting urgent needs in our city:

Donate! Summer can be a difficult time for many agencies as funding dips. We set a summer fundraising goal and we are 22% of the way there- can you help push us over the top?
Come to a potluck! Potlucks are the main way we raise funds and awareness...and they're pretty fun! PLEASE come to our July potlucks THIS Sunday and Tuesday and BRING FRIENDS! RSVP here.
Follow us on social media! Every like and share on Instagramand Facebook helps bring in donations. We have had several people attend potlucks because they saw us online. When you share our posts on your page and in your stories you are making a difference.
Grow our reach. Do you have a few minutes to ask your friends to subscribe to our newsletter? I promise to only send out timely and meaningful emails. :)

I often wish you could hear what our referring agents say. They are so thankful for the way that Womenade SLO meets their needs quickly and without judgment. Here's a note from Lupita Ducharme of Family Care Network. Your donations allowed us to immediately deliver a breast pump, baby swing, and car seat to a pregnant foster youth. Her thoughtful letter represents the feelings of referring agents and the 21+ families you have served so far.
